Pumpkin Patch and Fall Festival 2009

Last weekend was busy! After all of that rain, we were thrilled to have an entire weekend of perfect weather. Saturday we took the boys to the pumpkin patch, where they fed the animals, watched a pig race, rode the hay ride and played on the hay. They both brought home a small pumpkin, which Graham has continuously asked when we can make into pumpkin pie.

Sunday we had two extra boys all day. Our friends had to go out of town to a funeral, so we kept their sons, ages 1.5 and 8. Justin had the great idea to take them all out to eat after church. You should have seen the looks we got walking in with four boys and me pregnant! The day actually went much better than I expected, with both little boys taking a nap even. I got all of them into their costumes and we headed back to church for the Family Festival. I was really happy to see my friend walking up about an hour and a half into the festival. I certainly got some practice juggling extra kids, and have to say I'm glad we still have a few months before we are doing it every day.
