Merry CHRISTmas!

I can't believe it is already Christmas again!  Our little family has been undergoing lots of changes and adjustments over the past few months.  After nearly 6 years of being a SAHM, I have gone back to work full time.   We are still working out the kinks, but I'm so thankful that the boys have adjusted really well.  I'm lucky to have found a job that I enjoy, with co-workers who have quickly become friends.  I definitely miss being with my boys throughout the day, but going back to work was the right thing for our family at this point in time.

Now on to more fun things! :)  It's Christmas time, and as we prepare to celebrate the birth of our Savior, you know I love to fluff our nest a bit too! We are hosted our annual Eisele Merry Shindig last weekend.  It was a smaller crowd this year, but a night spent with friends we love and missing those that couldn't join us.  I gave it a "Favorite Things" theme, with each couple bringing their favorite dishes and favorite items for the gift exchange.  It was a lot of fun to see who picked what items and why.

Now on to the pictures! :)  Our tree this year is decorated with ornaments made from family photos.  I printed and crafted for several nights to make them all.  I was not entirely happy with the final outcome, but with such limited time this  year, I reminded myself that "it doesn't have to be perfect, to be beautiful".  And with so many memories from the photos of family and friends, our tree is definitely a work of love.   Everything else was kept understated and neutral as well.  I'm sure most of you will recognize a couple of projects that I made using my Pinterest inspiration! ;)  If you'd like to follow me on Pinterest, here's the link.  http://pinterest.com/razorbackmommy/
